- this list was run by Andreas Pour (kde.com, kdeleague.org) who made the press releases for KDE releases. People in different countries recieved them early to translate and give them to magazines etc.

- people who check for typos, spelling and grammer mistakes in KDE program strings and docs. kde-en-gb is as good as any list to contact them.

- used to develop http://desktop.kdenews.org/strategy.html run by Navindra and now perfectly open

- KDE e.v. is the legal body that looks after legal issues. this closed mailing list is used by it's membership.

kde-core-devel and khtml-devel are moderated mailing lists to keep them on topic. No idea who does the moderation.
There are also hundreds of private KDE IRC channels for the KDE elite, veterans, girls, women and groupies. There is a top secret KDE IRC channel #riddel-is-dumb (or something similar) for the KDE elite.
